COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – William & Mary standout men's gymnast
Luke Tully highlighted the Tribe's performances at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championship hosted by Air Force on Friday afternoon as he earned All-America honors in all-around for the second consecutive season.
Tully placed third with a career-high 77.05 at the national championship meet.
Army claimed the team title with a 313.05 and was followed by Greenville (311.85), Navy (310.75), Springfield (310.35), W&M (308.55), Air Force (306.75) and Simpson (302.4). The Tribe's team score marked its second-highest total this season.
Additionally, W&M posted the meet's top score on parallel bars (52.0), the second-best score on high bar (50.45) and a season-high total on rings (51.35).
In addition to Tully's All-America accolade, four Tribe standouts advanced to individual event finals –
Niko Greenly on floor (13.25) and parallel bars (13.15);
Jonathan Irwin on rings (13.2, career high);
Evan Wilkins on high bar (12.85) and Tully on parallel bars (13.55, career high).
