WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis continued its strong start to the 2026 season Wednesday afternoon, sweeping Mount St. Mary's, 7–0, at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
The victory lifts the Tribe to 2–0 on the season, while the Mountaineers fall to 0–2 in dual play.
William & Mary claimed the doubles point with wins at the top and bottom of the lineup. Francesca Davis and Tilda Larsson earned a 6–3 victory at No. 1, while Sia Chaudry and Parker Debnam cruised to a 6–2 win at No. 3. The No. 2 doubles match went unfinished with the Tribe leading.
The Tribe carried that momentum into singles play, sweeping all six matches. Chaudry, Larsson and Davis picked up straight-set victories at the top three positions, while Rebeka Svabikova secured a hard-fought win at No. 4. Ale Gonzalez-Galino and Emma Pell rounded out the sweep with wins at No. 5 and No. 6.
