WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary men's tennis earned its second-straight victory with a 4–2 win over Brown on Sunday afternoon at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
The win improves the Tribe to 3–4 on the season, while the Bears fall to 7–5 overall.
William & Mary secured the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Oliver Hague and Gur Trakhtenberg posted a 6–3 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Albert Hansen and Theo Nilsson added a 6–3 win at No. 2. The No. 3 doubles match went unfinished with the Tribe leading 5–4.
In singles play, William & Mary picked up three victories to clinch the team win.
Oliver Hague earned a hard-fought 6–3, 7–6 (7–3) victory at No. 2 singles. Dylan Chou followed with a 6–3, 7–6 (7–3) win at No. 5, and Albert Hansen secured the decisive point with a 7–5, 6–2 triumph at No. 6.
Brown claimed singles wins at No. 3 and No. 4, while the No. 1 match was left unfinished.
