Box Score WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The William & Mary Field Hockey team fell to Fairfield on Friday evening, 5-0, at Busch Field in Williamsburg.
Fairfield (7-5, 3-1 CAA) took an early lead it never relinquished as five different Stags recorded a goal in the winning effort. Alice Pifferi, Kaelyn Fogelson, Noor Hellemans, Kylie Corcoran and Bryn Andres.
Alexandra De Jesus and
Emma Cari combined for nine saves on Friday. De Jesus logged six stops, marking the fourth time this season and the second consecutive contest registering six saves or more.

Lauren McManus,
Josie Mae Gruendel and Josette Degour recorded shots for the Tribe (2-9, 1-2 CAA).
The Stags on the board with Piferri's tally in the opening quarter. Fogelson and Hellemans added goals in the second stanza to give the visitors a 3-0 advantage heading into halftime.
Corcoran and Andres added goals in the latter half to round out the scoring. In the final minutes, Degour and McManus fired dangerous chances on goal.
