CAA Releases 2025-26 Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

9/16/2025 10:00:00 AM

RICHMOND, Va.—The Coastal Athletic Association announced its 2025-26 women's basketball conference schedule on Tuesday.

The Tribe enters the year as the defending CAA champions for the first time in school history as Erin Dickerson Davis begins her fourth season in Williamsburg.

All 13 CAA programs will play an 18-game conference schedule with nine at home and nine away. Schedule pairings for CAA play were released in June.

The Tribe will play home and home with Charleston, Campbell, UNCW, Elon and Towson, while also hosting Drexel, Monmouth and Stony Brook. W&M will travel to Hofstra, N.C. A&T and Northeastern.

Games will be mostly played on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons, starting on Jan. 2 through March 7. The season will culminate with the 2026 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, returning to the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C., March 11- 15.

The Green and Gold will kick off the new calendar year with a trip to defending regular season champion N.C. A&T on Jan. 2 in the CAA opener.

Three of the next four games for the Tribe will be in Kaplan Arena, hosting Stony Brook (Jan. 4), Charleston (Jan. 9) and Hampton (Jan. 16). The lone away contest in that stretch will be a rematch of the 2025 CAA title game, with W&M traveling to Campbell on Jan. 11.

Following the first of two matchups with Hampton, the Tribe will embark on its lone northern road trip of the season, visiting Northeastern (Jan. 23) and Hofstra (Jan. 25).

Another date with Campbell is set for Kaplan Arena on Jan. 30 with UNCW coming to town two days later. The Tribe will follow that up with a pair of road games the next weekend, heading to Towson (Feb. 6) and Elon (Feb. 8).

The Tribe will turn around and play Towson again, at home, on Feb. 15 to kick off W&M's lone three-game homestand of the season. Monmouth and Drexel will come to Williamsburg on Feb. 20 and 22 respectively to round out the stretch.

Three of the Tribe's last four regular season games will be on the road, traveling to Charleston (Feb. 27), UNCW (March 1) and Hampton (March 7). The home finale for W&M will be a March 5 date with Elon.

The Tribe's season begins on Nov. 6 with a trip to Davidson. The home opener against Barton is on Nov. 9.
