WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary men's tennis notched a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Longwood on Tuesday evening at the Mackesy Tennis Center.
After Longwood won the doubles point, W&M (4-8) bounced back with four singles victories to secure the comeback win. Junior
Albert Hansen clinched the win with a clutch victory at No. 4. Sophomore

How It Happened
- In doubles, senior
Sean Joseph and Trakhtenberg posted a 6-3 victory over Petar Belosevic and Petter Lindquist at No. 2. The duo improved to 4-2 on the year.
- Longwood (5-7) countered with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 to secure the doubles point and a 1-0 lead.
- In singles, Hague quickly knotted the match with a straight-sets win at No. 2. Returning to the lineup for the first time in a month, he recorded a commanding 6-4, 6-1 victory over Belosevic. Hague advanced to 12-9 in singles play.
- After a Longwood win at No. 3, Katz quickly tied the contest at two with a come-from-behind three-set win at No. 6. After dropping the opening set in a tiebreaker, he bounce back by winning 12 of the final 13 games in the final two sets, 6-1, 6-0. Katz recorded his 10th win of the year.
- W&M's No. 1 singles player
Gur Trakhtenberg extended the Tribe lead to 3-2 with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 win over Timeo Puech. Trakhtenberg notched his fourth win playing at the top spot and his 15th overall.
- Hansen clinched the team triumph with a 7-6 (5), 7-5 victory over Alejandro Uribe at No. 4. With Hansen's seventh win of the year, the Tribe secured a 4-3 victory despite the Lancers winning on court 5.
