PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – William & Mary women's tennis rolled to a 7-0 victory on the road at Temple on Thursday afternoon.
The Tribe opened doubles play with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots, clinching the initial point and securing a 1-0 lead. Following up with wins in all six singles matches, W&M finished the match with a comfortable win over the Owls, upping the Tribe to 9-2 on the year.

- Seniors
Hedda Gurholt and
Ine Stange defeated Temple's Marianthi Christoforidou and Thamara Kawaratani, 6-2, at No. 1 doubles. The pair moved to 8-4 on the year.
- Riding a three-match win streak, senior
Emma Fernald and freshman
Mira Kernagis also won by a 6-2 scoreline against the Owls' Irmak Ozturk and Kelly Richter at No. 3. The Tribe duo tallied its 10th win on the season.
- Gurholt notched her ninth win at No. 1, downing Ozturk in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2.
- Senior
Alessandra Anghel won a first-set tiebreak, 7-6 (6), and followed up with a 6-1 second-set victory on court No. 2 over Richter. With the win, Anghel improved to 16-8 in singles.
- Junior
Sia Chaudry bounced Thamara Kawaratani 7-5, 6-4, to record another singles victory for W&M. Chaudry pushed her mark to 8-3 at the No. 3 spot.
- Stange won her match-up against Marianthi Christoforidou on line four by claiming a first-set tiebreak, 7-6 (4), and the second without dropping a game, 6-0. She upped her record to 14-10.
- Sophomore
Francesca Davis tallied a straight-sets win over Maria Martinez on court five, 6-4, 6-4, to extend her win streak to three matches. She improved to 10-2 in dual-match singles competition.
- Similarly, Kernagis also won in straight sets, topping Martyna Mackiewicz, 6-2, 6-2, at the No. 6 spot. Kernagis advanced to a 7-1 record while playing No. 6 singles.
