W&M Set to Host Education Day Game on Friday

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William & Mary Athletics will host the first Education Day at Kaplan Arena on Friday at 11 a.m. when the Tribe faces Regent.
 
W&M will welcome more than 1,000 elementary school students, faculty, and chaperons from around Williamsburg, including Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools, for the game. In-game activations will include a blend of educational pieces, on-court promotions, guest speakers, and engaging crowd prompts.
 
With the influx of traffic as a result of school buses delivering children, fans are encourage to enter campus from Richmond Road to avoid traffic. Both the Green and the Gold  lots for this game will be open for fans with the appropriate parking pass. The Pink and the Black lots will be open for anyone to park, free of charge.

All ticketed patrons, including season ticket members, will be seated in sections 23-27 (see map below), with open seating unless the seat otherwise marked as reserved. Courtside seating will be unaffected and will remain as assigned seats. The Person Room will also be open during halftime for all eligible donors and season ticket holders.

All three concessions stands in the arena will be open for this game. Stand 1 (located behind sections 23 and 24) and Stand 2 (located behind Section 15) will have a normal menu, while Stand 3 will offer grab and go options that are targeted toward our visiting students. Alcohol will NOT be sold for Friday's game. 

Tickets for the Tribe's game vs. Regent are on sale at TribeAthletics.com. Friday's game will be streamed on FloCollege. Fans an also listen into the action over the Tribe Sports Network with Jay Colley and Bobby Dwyer on the call. The Tide 92.3 FM in Williamsburg is the flagship station of the Tribe Sports Network.
