WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William & Mary field hockey returns to CAA action hitting the road for the first time at Towson on Friday afternoon.

- The Tribe scored a season-high four goals the last time out in a 5-4 setback to Davidson on Oct. 5. Senior
Emme Schwartz scored the first two goals of her Tribe career against the Wildcats, pulling W&M even at three and then again at four in the Green and Gold's three-goal third period.

Sophie Ermellini opened the Tribe scoring with her first career tally against Davidson in the second quarter. Senior
Natasha Browning made a steal near midfield and then fed Ermellini for the goal to pull W&M within 2-1 with just over five minutes remaining in the first half. It was Browning's first career assist.

Amelia Morgan scored her first career goal off a penalty stroke in the second quarter.

Josie Mae Gruendel added to her team-leading goal total against Davidson, scoring her fourth of the season. She scored twice in the final 2:04 to lift the Tribe to win over defending Patriot League Champion Lafayette on Sept. 7. Gruendel ranks fifth in the CAA in goals scored (4) and ninth in total points (9).

- Junior goalkeeper
Alexandra de Jesus leads the CAA and ranks fifth nationally at 8.9 saves per game. She also ranks third in the CAA and 41st in country in save % (71.8). de Jesus owns three double-digit save performances this season, including a career-high 24 at Old Dominion on Aug. 31. It marked the fourth-most saves in a game in school history, was the most for a Tribe goalkeeper since 1994, and is the most for a goalkeeper nationally in 2025.

- The Tribe leads the all-time series with Towson at 29-5-1, including a 13-3 mark in Maryland. Last season, the Tigers picked up a narrow 2-1 overtime win over the Tribe in Williamsburg. W&M won its last trip to Towson, 3-2, in 2023.
