- While UNCW leads the all-time series at 48-33, W&M has won 14 of the last 22 meetings between the teams. Last season, the teams split the season series with each winning on the other's home court.
- Seven of the Tribe's 12 scholarship players have missed at least five games this season. In total, those seven players have combined to miss 98 games in 2023-24. Five of the seven have started this season. Since Dec. 1, the Tribe has played eight games with just seven available scholarship players.
- The Tribe turned in one of its best defensive performances of the year against the CAA's top offense in Charleston. The Cougars entered the game as the league's top scoring team (83 ppg in CAA play) and most efficient offense (1.20 points per possession). W&M held CofC to 0.94 points per possession and a league low of 65 points. The Cougars also shot their lowest field goal % of 37.2% in league action. Over the last four games, W&M is holding foes to just 65.8 points per game, a 34.6 FG% and 1.04 points per possession.
- In two of the last four games, the Tribe turned in its top two offensive rebounding totals of the season with 19 at Monmouth (Feb. 8) and 17 against Towson (Feb. 15). The 19 offensive rebounds at Monmouth are the most in a CAA game this season and the most for the Tribe against a DI opponent since the 2010 regular-season finale when it had 21 vs. Towson. Over the last four games, W&M is averaging 13 offensive rebounds per contest with an offensive rebounding % of 33.2.
- Sophomore
Chase Lowe is averaging 13.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in CAA play. He is one of 39 players nationally, as of Feb. 21, to average 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Lowe has four doubles-doubles on the year and two in league play. In CAA games, he is the one of only two players (along with CofC's Ante Brzovic) to rank among the top 15 in scoring, rebounding, and assists.
- Sophomore
Trey Moss has led the Tribe in scoring in each of the last four games, averaging 18 per contest during the stretch. He has a team-leading five 20-point games this season. Moss has scored in double figures in 21 of the Tribe's 27 games and ranks 12th in the CAA at 13.6 points per game. Earlier this season, he had a career-high 22 points against Drexel on Jan. 6.
- With his two 3-pointers at Charleston, junior
Gabe Dorsey moved into the top five on the Tribe's single-season list. His 89 3-pointers rank seventh nationally. He is just four 3-pointers shy of the top 3 on W&M's single-season list. Over his two seasons at W&M, he has 165 3-pointers which ranks 11th on the Tribe's career list and is one away from the top 10.
- The Tribe has connected on double-digit 3-pointers in 10 games this season. The Green and Gold ranks 23rd nationally in 3-pointers attempted (27.1) and 72nd in 3-pointers made per game (8.6). In total, 47.1% of the Tribe's field goal attempts come from 3-point range and 36.6% of its scoring comes on 3-point field goals. Those numbers rank 16th and 35th nationally, according to KenPom.com.
- Lowe is one of the best in the country at getting to the free throw line. According to KenPom.com, he is 21st nationally in free throw rate (72.1) and 37th in the country in drawing fouls at 6.5 per 40 minutes. Lowe has made 112 free throws on the season, which ranks third in the CAA and 66th nationally.

Gabe Dorsey continues to be one of the top shooters in the country. After ranking fourth in the country in 3-point % last season, he is currently seventh in 3-pointers per game (3.3), as of Feb. 21. Dorsey is shooting 36.6% from distance this season, which ranks fourth in the CAA and 66th nationally.
- Nathan Knight, who was the 2020 National Mid-Major Player of the Year, signed an NBA 2-way deal with the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics this season and is currently with the Motor City Cruise in the NBA G-League. He has played three years in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Atlanta Hawks. Knight is the third W&M player, joining Marcus Thornton (Cleveland Cavaliers 10-day contract in 2018) and Daniel Dixon (Boston Celtics preseason Exhibit 10 deal in 2017) to sign an NBA deal since 2017.
- Along with Knight in the NBA G-League, seven other former Tribe standouts are playing professionally in overseas -
Anders Nelson (Starwings in Switzerland), Andy Van Vliet (Trefl Sopot in Poland), Justin Pierce (Veertien Mie in Japan), David Cohn (VfL SparkassenStars Bochum in Germany), Omar Prewitt (Tofas Bursa in Turkey), Marcus Thornton (Lavrio in Greece), and Terry Tarpey (AS Monaco in France).
- A trio of former W&M players are currently on coaching staffs in the NBA and NBA G-League. Jim Moran '01 is the head coach of the Rip City Remix, which is the G-League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers. Sean Sheldon '16 is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz. Daniel Dixon '17 is an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Blue, the NBA G-League program of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
