TRIBE NOTES

Last Time Out
W&M dropped their home finale against Campbell last Saturday by a score of 3-2. The Green and Gold provided the first goal of the game after the Camels went a man down early on due to a red card. Gabe Ruitenberg took a pass from Sam Delgado and beat the keeper to make it 1-0. Campbell responded to tie it 1-1 at the half, before scoring two goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half to take a 3-1 lead. Thor Sigurjonsson pulled W&M within one in the 76th minute off an assist from Ruitenberg. The hosts were unable to complete the comeback, however. The loss eliminated the Tribe from postseason contention.

Gabe's Big Night
The three points on Saturday for Ruitenberg made him the second Tribe player to have an assist and a goal in the same game this season. Tre Barrett posted two goals and one assist in W&M's 4-0 victory over UNCW on Sept. 28. Lucas Caldas is the only other player with three or more points in a game this season, scoring twice in the season opener at Binghamton for the Green and Gold.

Picking Up the Production
Chris Norris' squad has seen a nice bump in production offensively this season. The Tribe have scored 21 goals through their first 15 games after scoring 16 goals all of last season.

Scouting the Seawolves
Stony Brook enters the season finale with two points and a 0-5-2 record in CAA play. The Seawolves are 3-9-3 overall and looking for their first win since they beat Seton Hall on Oct. 8. Saturday's match will oddly be the first conference game for the Seawolves since Oct. 19. They are coming off a 4-2 loss to Boston College last weekend.

History of the Seawolves
Being in the CAA for just three seasons now, the history between W&M and SBU is brief. Saturday will serve as the fifth meeting all-time in the series with the Tribe holding a 2-1-1 lead. Last year the two sides battled to a scoreless draw in Williamsburg. Stony Brook's lone win in the series came back in 2007.
