TRIBE NOTES

Last Time Out
The Tribe fell behind No. 19 NC State 2-0 in the first half on Wednesday at Martin Family Stadium. W&M (4-9-1, 2-3-1 CAA) came out energized offensively in the second half however, with Aidan Morrison getting the Tribe on the board, with an assist from Evan Rabush, in the 62nd minute to make it 2-1. The Tribe pushed for an equalizer but couldn't find one before the Wolfpack added insurance goals in the 81st and 84th minutes. Gabe Ruitenberg closed out the scoring a minute later off an assist from Webb Kosich to make the final score 4-2 in the Tribe's non-conference finale.

What's at Stake
Saturday's matchup between the Tribe and the Camels has postseason implications for a multitude of reasons. Both teams currently sit tied for seventh in the CAA standings, two points behind UNCW for the final spot in the conference tournament. UNCW hosts first place Monmouth on Saturday, meaning a win for W&M or Campbell could catapult them into the final postseason spot if the Seahawks can't garner a point against Monmouth. Also of note, the Tribe already holds a tiebreaker over UNCW after beating them earlier this season. With a loss on Saturday, W&M or Campbell would be eliminated from the postseason.

Setting the Table
Evan Rabush's assist on Aidan Morrison's goal Wednesday gave him his fifth of the season for the Tribe. The five helpers tie the sophomore for the team-lead with Tre Barrett.

Dynamic Duo
Sam Delgado and Tre Barrett have been the catalysts for the W&M offense in CAA play. Both are averaging a point a game in CAA action, with Delgado cashing in on a trio of goals and Barrett with two goals and two assists. They are the only two Tribe players with multiple goals in conference action.

Scouting the Camels
Campbell comes to Williamsburg after ending a three-game losing streak on Tuesday, beating Winthrop 1-0 at home. The Camels are 7-5-4, 2-3-1 CAA on the season with their conference wins against Northeastern and Stony Brook. Their draw came against first-place Monmouth.

History With the Camels
Campbell bested the Tribe 2-1 last year in Buies Creek, N.C. during what was the first matchup between the squads as conference foes. Saturday will be the seventh meeting all-time between the Camels and W&M, with the Tribe winning all five non-conference matchups to hold a 5-1 advantage in the series.
