William & Mary Athletics, in partnership with Aramark and the W&M Police Department, will begin a pilot program to sell alcohol from concessions areas at Plumeri Park. This program will offer fans the opportunity to purchase beer, wine, and seltzers for consumption in seating areas.
William & Mary will incorporate alcohol management expectations as set forth by Aramark corporate policy, which includes:
- Alcoholic beverages will only be sold from Aramark concessions, located behind home plate.
- Any fan wishing to purchase OR consume alcohol must have their identification verified by RMC event staff and will be required to wear a wrist band.
- No liquor will be available.
- Fans wearing a wristband will be permitted to buy a maximum of two drinks at a time, with a limit of four drinks per day.
- Alcohol will be dispensed in cups.
- No outside alcohol will be allowed into the venue, and no alcohol will be permitted to leave the stadium.
- Sales and distribution of alcohol will stop during the 7th inning stretch during a single game and at the end of the 5th inning of game two of a double header.
- All Aramark employees that serve alcohol will be certified in an accredited alcohol service program.
- A no-reentry policy, similar to those at Zable Stadium and Kaplan Arena, will be in effect. Fans wishing to leave the facility will be required to purchase a new ticket to re-enter Plumeri Park.
The 2024 season begins on February 16 and features 32 home games. Tickets are on sale now and available at tribeathletics.com/tickets.
