Women's Tennis Trio Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – A trio of William &  Mary women's tennis student-athletes were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. Senior Elisa Van Meeteren and sophomores Ine Stange and Emma Fernald were honored by the organization.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Each institution is limited to four nominees for tennis

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
