WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis returns home this weekend to host the HOF Invite, Oct. 10-11.

The six-team event will be held at both the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center (705 S. Henry St., Williamsburg, VA 23185) and Mackesy Tennis Center at the Millie West Courts (500 Brooks St., Williamsburg, VA 23185). Joining the Tribe are USC, North Carolina, Princeton, Liberty and UNCW. Competition will be held in a hidden dual format.

W&M enters the weekend following a successful showing at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational in Annapolis, Md., where the Tribe captured three titles. Freshman Nicole Lukesova and sophomore Rebeka Svabikova claimed singles championships, while Svabikova teamed with senior Francesca Davis to win the A Flight doubles title.

Lukesova leads the Tribe with a perfect 7-0 singles record through two fall events, while Svabikova is 6-1 and Tilda Larsson is 5-2. Davis and Svabikova lead W&M in doubles with a 5-1 record, while Larsson and Medha Chandana are 4-1.

The Tribe will compete against student-athletes from UNCW and North Carolina on Saturday before facing Princeton and USC on Sunday. Three W&M student-athletes are also scheduled to join the Liberty group for Sunday's competition.
