WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Graduate student Sarah Houle and freshman Grace Lu both placed among the top 10 to lead William & Mary at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, which wrapped up at the Kingsmill Resort's River Course on Tuesday.
 
The Tribe finished eighth in the 19-team field at a 939 (+75), topping three CAA foes in Monmouth, Towson and Hofstra. Penn won the team title with a 906 (+42) just two shots clear of High Point.
 
Houle recorded her 11th career top-10, posting her best round over the final 18. She fired a 2-over 74 on Tuesday, finishing the tournament in a share of ninth with a 227 (+11). Her 11 career top-10 finishes are tied for sixth in school history. Houle ranked second in the tournament with 36 pars over the 54 holes.
 
Lu joined Houle in a share of ninth with a 227 (+11) for her second top-10 of the season. Playing as an individual, she posted all three rounds in the 70s and notched a 2-over 74 in round two for her best 18. Lu tied for the tournament lead in par 4 scoring at 3-over. She tied for the team lead with seven birdies during the event.
 
Freshman Simone Senk earned the second-best finish of her Tribe career, garnering a share of 24th behind a 234 (+18). She posted all three rounds in the 70s and tied for the team lead with seven birdies.
 
Senior Mimi Taylor (T28), freshman Avery Thompson (T39) and sophomore Emma Lu (T52) all finished among the top half of the field. Taylor posted a career-best 235 (+19), playing as an individual.
