SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team posted a successful final day at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championship hosted by Springfield on Saturday afternoon, as five Tribe gymnasts combined to earn eight All-America honors.
A day after winning the national title in all-around,
Aidan Cuy earned All-America honors on parallel bars (3rd, 13.45), rings (6th, 12.8) and vault (6th, 13.9).
Christian Marsh also garnered All-America distinction in multiple events, finishing fourth on pommel horse (12.9) and fifth on rings (12.95). He also competed on parallel bars and placed eighth (11.45).
Samuel Smith (pommel horse, 5th, 12.85),
Trenton Peazant (vault, 5th, 13.95) and
Evan Sikra (high bar, 5th, 12.9) all earned All-America accolades in one event apiece.
Mark Fu also competed in the event finals on high bar and placed eighth with a 12.25.
The Tribe will continue the championship portion of its schedule when it competes at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Navy next Saturday at 2 p.m.
