Trenton Peazant was selected as the College Gymnastics Association Specialist of the Week. The honor recognizes the nation's top specialist.
Peazant won both events in which he competed, as he placed first on floor (13.3) and vault (14.15). His impressive effort on vault was a career high.
One of the Eastern College Athletic Conference's top freshmen, Peazant currently ranks eighth in the league on floor (13.283).
W&M will begin its postseason slate at the USAG Collegiate Championship hosted by Springfield on Friday at Saturday. Competition will begin at 1 p.m. on both days. Virtius will provide video and live scoring for the Championship.
