WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Playing outdoors at the Mackesy Tennis Center on a brisk afternoon, William & Mary rallied from an early deficit, before Delaware won the final two singles matches to edge the Tribe, 4-3.

Joseph Brailovsky picked up wins at the top three singles positions to give W&M a 3-2 lead. The Tribe (6-6, 2-1 CAA) could not find a fourth win as the Blue Hens notched the final two singles matches to pick up the team victory.
How it Happened

Bill Duo gave the Tribe the early lead in doubles with a victory at the top post. The tandem picked up a 6-4 victory over Tobey Lock and Euan Mackenzie. They moved to 8-5 overall with their third win at No. 1.
- Delaware rallied with narrow wins at No. 2 and No. 3 to secure the initial point of the match. The Blue Hens' Luis Molina and James Wilkinson won in a tiebreaker at two to earn the point for the visitor.
- Silva and Brailovsky put the Tribe on top with straight-set wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Silva dropped just four games in a 6-1, 6-3 win over Daniel Krulig at No. 3. He won his third-straight, ninth overall and improved to 6-3 in dual-match action.
- Brailovsky followed with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Molina at No. 2 to give W&M the lead. He also won his third in a row and pushed his team-leading singles mark to 16-10.
- After a Delaware win at No. 5 tied the match at two, Davis downed Wilkinson at No. 1 to put the Tribe back in front. He edged the Blue Hen grad student, 6-4, 7-6 (3), for his second win of the week. The Tribe senior won his fifth match of the year at No. 1.
- The Blue Hens won the final two singles matches off the court, including the clincher at No. 4 in three sets.

The Tribe returns to action with a three-match road trip to the Lone Star State. W&M travels to UTSA on Friday, March 24, at 1 p.m., before heading to Rice for a pair over the weekend. The Tribe takes on Cal Poly on Saturday, March 25, at 1 p.m., before facing the host Owls on Sunday, March 26, at 11 a.m.
