SAN ANTONIO, Texas – William & Mary opened its road trip to the Lone Star state with a 4-0 setback at No. 37-ranked UTSA on Friday afternoon.

- The Roadrunners (16-4) took the opening point of the match with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions.
- At the top spot, senior
George Davis and graduate student
Bill Duo rallied from an early deficit to take a 5-4 over Thomas Pinho and Sebastian Rodriguez. The match was abandoned with the doubles point decided.
- In singles, UTSA picked up straight-sets wins at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 to secure the team victory.
- At No. 2, grad student
Joseph Brailovsky rallied to take the second set, 6-1, from Rodriguez, but the match was abandoned with the team result decided.
- Sophomore
Sean Joseph's match at No. 5 singles was also abandoned, but not before he came back in the second set. UTSA's Jackson Ross won the opening set, 6-2, and Joseph held a 4-3 lead in the second when the match was stopped.

The Tribe returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Houston, Texas, to take on Cal Poly. The match will be played at Rice beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
