WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary football team concluded its spring practice season with the annual Spring Game at Zable Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Running back Malachi Imoh highlighted the Tribe's performance offensively with a pair of touchdowns. His first score came on a 22-yard pass from Darius Wilson, while he later found the end zone with a 3-yard run.
Wide receiver DreSean Kendrick and quarterback Justin Hiller provided the longest play of the afternoon when the two connected on a 28-yard touchdown strike.
A number of players posted impressive performances defensively, as linebacker Kevin Jarrell recorded a sack and an interception. Defensive lineman Sammy Sarantis also came up big with a sack, 2.0 TFL and fumble recovery, while linebacker Stewart Harrington III registered a sack and 2.0 TFL.
All-America linebacker John Pius posted a sack, while All-America defensive end Nate Lynn recorded a TFL.
Placekicker Bryson Harvey provided a highlight on special teams and connected on his only field goal attempt (39 yds).
At the completion of the game, the team announced captains for the 2023 season with five players garnering the honor – offensive lineman Marcus Crowell, linebacker Kevin Jarrell, defensive end Nate Lynn, cornerback Ryan Poole and running back Bronson Yoder.

W&M returns a host of talent from one of the most successful teams in its 129-year history of the program. Last season W&M equaled a school record with 11 victories, won a share of the Colonial Athletic Association title and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
Additionally, W&M won a school-record 10 regular season games, posted a perfect 6-0 regular season road record for the first time in school history, defeated three nationally ranked teams and earned a lopsided season-opening victory on the road against FBS opponent Charlotte.
