PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – William & Mary used its singles strength in topping Colonial Athletic Association foe Drexel, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.
 
Graduate students Andres Silva and Bill Duo, senior George Davis and sophomore Sean Joseph picked up victories to lift the Tribe (4-4) to its second league win.
 
How it Happened
- Drexel (4-5) opened the match by winning the doubles point thanks to a tiebreaker win at the No. 2 position. The Tribe's top team of Davis and Joseph Brailovsky posted the lone W&M doubles win with a 6-4 victory over Gustav Wogen and Djordje Janackovic. The duo improved to 2-1 on the year.
- The Tribe won two of the first three singles matches to draw even at two. Silva dropped just five games in a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Janackovic at No. 3. It was his sixth win of the year and third in dual-match action.
- Davis posted his third victory at the top spot. He downed Alan Jesudason in straight sets, 7-6, 6-4.
- The balance of the match came down to a trio of three set matches and the Tribe picked up the win behind victories at No. 4 and No. 6.
- Duo outlasted Alex De Sousa, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, at No. 4. It was his sixth win of the season and third in dual-match action.
- Joseph put the finishing touches on the Tribe victory with a three-set win at No. 5. He downed Matvey Radinov, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4, for his fifth win in a row. Joseph is 6-3 on the year.
