MACON, GA.- Cole Ragone's solo homer in the top half of the seventh gave the Tribe a 3-2 lead and the Green and Gold would tack on to take a 6-2 victory over Mercer Saturday afternoon in Macon.
Cory Wall was phenomenal earning the win in his William & Mary debut. The graduate student struck out six, allowing zero runs and only two base runners over the final 3.1 innings of the game.
Nate Knowles was strong as the Tribe's starter allowing zero earned and striking out four over the opening three frames.
With the game tied 2-2 in the seventh, Ragone took the first pitch deep over teh wall in right for his second homer in two days. Freshmen
Tank Yaghoubi,
Jerry Barnes III, and
Charlie Iriotakis all had key RBIs for the Tribe.
