WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team opened its season with a victory against Simpson College, 360.75-318.25, in a virtual meet on Sunday afternoon.
En route to earning the lopsided triumph, W&M won five of the six events and posted the top three individual scores on all but one apparatus.
Christian Marsh (pommel horse, rings) and
Aidan Cuy (floor, vault) led the Tribe with a pair of individual event titles, while
Alek Kuzmenchuk (parallel bars),
Ricky Pizem (high bar) and
Samuel Smith (floor – tied for first) each placed first in one event apiece.
