WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Men's gymnastics standout
Christian Marsh was selected as the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery after a tremendous performance at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship.
The honor marks the second consecutive week in which he has won the accolade.
En route to helping W&M place third at the ECAC Championship, Marsh highlighted the Tribe's individual performances by winning the rings title with a career-high 14.45 – a score that ranks fifth in W&M's record book and is the nation's fourth-best mark in the event this season.
He also garnered all-conference honors by placing second in all-around with a career-best 78.75, which ranks sixth in W&M's record book, and fourth on pommel horse (12.8).
Marsh has also excelled in the classroom during his collegiate career and is a two-time College Gymnastics Association All-America Scholar-Athlete.
