WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team earned its best score of the season but fell to Navy, 389.85-381.85, on Senior Day at Kaplan Arena.
In addition to posting its top team total of the 2022 campaign, W&M recorded season highs on rings (63.8) and high bar (63.05).
Junior
Aidan Cuy highlighted the Tribe's individual performances by winning parallel bars with a 13.45.
Event Highlights
Floor, 61.7 – Cuy led the Tribe on floor with a 13.0, while freshman
Will Harrington (12.75) and senior
Christian Marsh (12.7, career high) also contributed to the team total.
Pommel Horse, 60.55 – Marsh placed second on pommel horse with a 12.95, while senior
Christian Gulotta narrowly missed out on a top-three finish with a season-best 12.6.
Rings, 63.8 – Sophomore
Ahmir Postell led the way on rings for W&M and placed second with a career-high 13.1.
Vault, 68.15 – Cuy earned the Tribe's top score on vault with a 13.95.
Parallel Bars, 64.6 – Cuy claimed the parallel bars title with a 13.45, while sophomore
Sam Lee placed third with a 13.0.
High Bar, 63.05 – Lee's career-high 13.4 on high bar was the third-best score in the event, while junior
Connor Bowman placed just outside the top three with a career-high 13.05.
Cuy posted the meet's top score in all-around (76.75), while Marsh also competed in all four events and earned a career-best 76.5.

With the regular season portion of its schedule complete, W&M will return to action when it competes at the USAG Collegiate Championships hosted by Navy on March 25-26.
