WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – For the second time this year, women's basketball graduate student
Riley Casey was named the William & Mary Student-Athlete of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Wednesday.
Casey earned the accolade after totaling a season-high 27 points with five rebounds and three assists in the Tribe's match-up against Charleston. She knocked down seven 3-pointers, which tied for second-most in program history.
The Brentwood, Tenn. native, leads the Tribe in scoring and ranks second in the CAA with 13 points per game, while she is also among the league leaders in 3-point % (40.3).
Casey earned her bachelor's degree from Columbia in economics last spring and is currently enrolled in the MBA program in W&M's prestigious Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
