THINGS TO KNOW

With last Friday's 3-0 win over Hampton, the Tribe secured their first non-conference winning record since the 2012 season. The Green and Gold's three sweeps so far mark the most in any season since 2016, and it is the first time since the 2000 season that the first  three wins of the season have come by a 3-0 score.

A pair of Tribe underclassmen had career nights last time out against Hampton. Maddie Meyers' 16 kills were a new mark for the sophomore while freshman Amy Schwem set new highs with 37 assists and 10 digs for her first double-double.

Last time out, Anna Porter moved into 10th all-time in career digs under the current scoring format. Lauren Merrill jumped into the 12th spot among all players in total kills and Anne Louise Seekford recorded her 300th career dig on Friday night.

With a .431 hitting percentage on the season with 62 kills and 12 errors, Julia Brown leads the CAA and ranks 20th in the NCAA. She ranks third in  the league with a 3.44 kills per set clip.

Sabrina Malcolm leads the Tribe and is second in the league with 1.33 blocks per set. The mark is good for 44th in the NCAA and the sophomore is averaging 1.81 blocks per set in her career.

The Tribe's offensive attack has been one of the most potent in the league as W&M ranks second in the CAA with opponents only mustering 12.17 digs per set.

Northeastern owns a 21-7 overall advantage in the series against William & Mary and took both meetings against the Tribe in 2019. The two teams did not meet last season due to the Covid shortened schedule. The Huskies were ranked third in the CAA preseason poll and received one first place vote.
