Biography

2021 Fall
Started all 21 matches… Named first team All-CAA for the second straight season… Twice named CAA Offensive Player of the Week (Aug. 29, and Nov. 1)... Finished the season with a .334 hitting percentage, the best of any player under the current scoring format in William & Mary history… Finished fifth in the CAA with 3.12 kills per set… Earned CAA Offensive Player of the Week after slamming 21 kills on 34 attempts in three-set wins over Western Illinois and Air Force on opening weekend… Tied a career-high with 21 kills, hitting .606, and a season-high eight blocks against Akron (Sept. 4). Once again had 21 kills, hitting .563 on a Senior Day win over Elon (Oct. 31)... Hit .500 with 12 kills and seven blocks in a win over UNCW (Nov. 7)... Played her 100th career match at Hofstra (Oct. 10) and had 14 kills… Led the team with 231 kills and 64.0 blocks, finished second on the Tribe with 0.86 blocks per set… Added three assists and two service aces… Finished her career with 399 sets played… Ranks second in Tribe history with 366 total blocks, 72 solo blocks, and 293 blocks per set… Finishes ranked fourth in school history with 934 kills and second with a .272 hitting percentage… Ranks 10th with 49 service aces.



2021 Spring
Played in seven matches and 29 sets in the spring season… Finished the year as an All-CAA player… Ranked first on the Tribe and sixth in the league with a .287 hitting percentage, fifth best in school history under the current scoring format… Had at least 10 kills in five of her seven matches… Had 18 in each of a pair of wins over Elon on Feb. 26-27… Went for a season-high 21 kills on a .405 hitting percentage against UNCW on March 19… Added 17 blocks including five in a season-opening win against Elon on Feb. 26… Added 14 digs and a service ace. 


2019
Played in all 97 of the Tribe’s sets over 27 matches during the 2019 season… One of three players to see action in every game… Finished third on the team with 212 kills… Led the team with a .326 hitting percentage, best in William & Mary history under the current scoring format, best since the 2005 season, and fifth-best in school history… Finished first on the team in blocks (113) and blocks per set (1.16)... Brown’s 1.16 blocks per set tie a new school record under the current scoring format… Added 21 digs and 16 aces… Led the team with 13 matches with over a .300 hitting percentage and added 10 matches with double-digit kills… Recorded at least five blocks on 14 occasions… Hammered a career-high 17 kills in an October 4 win at UNCW… Sent back a career-high 10 blocks in November 1 win against Charleston… Added 13 kills against Charleston to record her first career double-double… Had 11 kills, six blocks, and hit .588 in a Tribe home win against Iona… Opened the season with 11 kills, five blocks, and a .417 hitting percentage in a win against Quinnipiac… Finished the season ranked second in the current scoring format with 284 career blocks… Named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week on November 4. 


2018
Appeared in every match (25) for a total of 87 sets played … Led the Tribe with a .254 hitting percentage and 0.75 blocks per set … Ranked second on the team in total kills (182) and third in aces (12) … Improved to eighth all-time in blocks (171) in the current scoring era… Hammered eight kills in her first two matches of the season against Marist (Aug. 24) and Central Arkansas (Aug. 25) … Registered the 10th-highest attack percentage (.630) in school history in banner effort against Campbell (Sept. 1) … Led the Tribe with eight kills in 14 attempts with only two errors (.429 attack percentage) at Charleston (Sept. 23) … Floored 12 kills across 20 attempts (.350 hitting rate) and made four blocks at Northeastern (Sept. 28) … Collected 13 kills and a season-high seven blocks versus Elon (Oct. 14) … Finished with a .381 hitting percentage (10k-2e-21a) on the road at UNCW (Oct. 16) … Notched 11 kills to go along with three blocks at Elon (Oct. 24) … Record 10-plus kills (13) for the fifth time at James Madison (Nov. 2).

2017
Placed on Colonial Athletic Association All-Rookie Team…One of two players to start every match (30)  and play in each set (114) during her freshman campaign…Named CAA Rookie of the Week for the week of Oct. 16…Became just the second W&M player to exceed 100 blocks in a season in the current scoring era…Ranked third on the team in kills (212) and second in points (293)…Tied first on the roster with 18 service aces…Her average of 1.00 block per set in conference matches ranked ninth in the league…Served a pair of aces on five occasions…Tied third for most blocks in three sets (9) against Norfolk State (10/10)…Matched her season-high 13 kills against CAA foes Delaware (9/21) and Elon (10/25)…Went on a run of at least six stops in five consecutive matches (Hofstra, NSU, UNCW, Charleston and Delaware) from Oct. 7-20…Hammered 10 kills behind a .368 hitting rate against Northeastern (11/3), before following up with 12 kills on a .417 attack percentage versus Hofstra (11/5).

Prep
Led Geneva to its best season ever in 2016, going 37-2 and reaching the 4A Super-Sectional finals ... Led her team in blocks (39 solo, 12 assisted, 51 total), serve percentage (.939) and attack percentage (.548) as a senior ... Led Geneva to the conference, regional, and sectional titles for the first time ever ... First-team All-Conference, with all-state and other awards still to come ... AP Scholar ... National Merit Commended Scholar ... Three-times named Academic All-Conference ... Ranks in the top 5% of her graduating class ... Member of the National Honor Society ...
