WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary women's golf junior
Sarah Houle was named the Tribe Leader of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Tuesday. The Tribe Leader of the Week recognizes exceptional William & Mary student-athletes for their contributions as leaders in the classroom and the community.
One of the top golfers in program history, Houle is leading the Tribe in scoring this season with a 77.17 scoring average and is 210-25 (.894) in head-to-head match-ups in the team's six rounds. Houle also ranks third on W&M's career lists with a 76.76 scoring average in 42 rounds, and she has a .748 winning percentage (1000-337), also ranking her third all-time. She helped lead W&M to setting the best team scoring average in school history last year as well.
An accounting major, Houle is also minoring in sustainability. She was a WGCA All-American Scholar selection in 2019-20, with a GPA over 3.5, and was also named a W&M Provost's Award-winner and to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award list in both the fall and spring semesters.
