Lacrosse’s Devon Fleischmann Named Tribe Leader of the Week

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary lacrosse senior Devon Fleischmann was named the Tribe Leader of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Tuesday. The Tribe Leader of the Week recognizes exceptional William & Mary student-athletes for their contributions as leaders in the classroom and the community.
 
A goalkeeper, Fleischmann appeared in three games as a reserve in 2020. He tallied four saves at George Mason and recorded a pair of stops versus nationally ranked Duke.
 
Academically, Fleischmann is majoring in finance with a concentration in business analytics. During her career, she has been selected to the Dean's List, is a W&M Provost Award winner and a CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection.
 
Over the summer, she served as an Investments & Capital Markets Intern at Freddie Mac.
 
In the community, Fleischmann has volunteered with the ARC of Greater Williamsburg, helping individuals with development disabilities though activities to develop creativity and interpersonal skills. She also works with the One Child Center for Autism on Kid's Night. She arranges and participates in an evening of activities for children with special needs and their siblings
