WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary men's gymnastics team will open the 2021 season with a virtual dual meet against the defending national champions, Stanford, at Williamsburg Gymnastics on Wednesday at 2 p.m.

A LOOK AT THE TRIBE
Led by a trio of team captains –
Ian Creelman,
Jordan Kula and
Collin Lillie – the Tribe returns a talented roster as it enters the 2021 campaign. Highlighting the returning standouts is
Andrew Lyubovsky who earned USA Gymnastics Collegiate All-America honors on parallel bars, high bar and in all-around last season.
Christian Marsh (rings), Lillie (vault) and
Aidan Cuy (parallel bars) also garnered All-America distinction in 2020.
A LOOK AT THE CARDINAL
Selected as the nation's top-ranked team in the College Gymnastics Association (CGA) Preseason Coaches Poll, the defending national champion Cardinal returns seven of the eight All-America gymnasts from a year ago. Highlighting the group are reigning CGA Rookie of the Year Brandon Briones and Ian Gunther, who garnered four All-America honors in 2020.

Following Wednesday's matchup against Stanford, W&M will return to action when it hosts Navy at Kaplan Arena on Feb. 21. The event will be part of a double dual with the Tribe women's team, as it will host Towson.
