Baseball’s Randy Prosperi Named Tribe Leader of the Week

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary baseball senior Randy Prosperi was named the Tribe Leader of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Tuesday. The Tribe Leader of the Week recognizes exceptional William & Mary student-athletes for their contributions as leaders in the classroom and the community.
 
On the field, Prosperi has been an integral part of the Tribe's pitching staff. Over his career, Prosperi has appeared in 40 games in relief with an ERA of 4.28 and 54 strikeouts. In 2019, he posted a 3-2 record with a 3.52 ERA with 42 Ks.
 
Academically, Prosperi is majoring in Finance with an emphasis in business analytics. He has earned the W&M Provost Award and is a three-time CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection.
 
A baseball representative on the Student-Athletics Advisory Council, Prosperi serves as Treasurer and is active member of the group's service sub-committee.   
 
The senior righthander is part of the student-athlete mentorship program, helping younger student-athletes navigate the transition to college. As part of the baseball program, he is also involved with The Arc of Williamsburg, working with individuals with developmental disabilities through community activities and advocacy.
