DANBURY, Conn. – After helping the William & Mary men's gymnastics team earn a season-opening victory against Stanford, junior standout
Christian Marsh was selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference Specialist of the Week.
Marsh won a pair of individual titles in the Tribe's victory, as he posted a career-high 13.35 on pommel horse and a 12.9 on rings. With the performance on pommel horse, he currently ranks 14th nationally in the event.
Last season, Marsh earned USA Gymnastics Collegiate All-America honors, as well as All-ECAC distinction, on rings.
W&M will return to action when it hosts Navy for its home opener at Kaplan Arena this Sunday at 2 p.m. The meet will be part of a double dual, as the women's team will host Towson.
