For the third straight match, Kaitlyn Ferguson was efficient offensively hitting for a .286 percentage and Amy Schwem finished her outstanding freshman campaign with 24 assists in the match.

It was an early 5-0 run highlighted by a pair of aces that gave Delaware an early 6-1 lead in the opening set. Merrill had three kills and Bella Easton had four digs, but it would not be enough as the Blue Hens took a 25-12 set one win.

Set two was a tight affair early as the teams played to an 11-11 tie before Delaware went on a 4-0 run to jump out to an advantage. The Tribe would not be able to slow down a powerful Blue Hens offense that hit .414 in a 25-17 second stanza victory.

In the final frame, the Blue Hens offense would once again click for a .370 hitting percentage as the home team would take a 25-17 victory to clinch the match.
