WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary women's swimming senior
Megan Bull was named the Tribe Leader of the Week presented by the Virginia Lottery on Tuesday. The Tribe Leader of the Week recognizes exceptional William & Mary student-athletes for their contributions as leaders in the classroom and the community.
A leader in the pool, Bull is a three-time team MVP and a four-time CAA individual Champion. In 2018, she was selected as the CAA Rookie of the Year. Bull set W&M school records in the 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard breaststroke.
A history major, she has excelled in the classroom as well. Bull has been named to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll in each of the previous three years. She is a two-time Provost Award winner and a three-time Dean's List honoree.
In the community, Bull has been a Special Olympics Swimming Volunteer since 2018. She has helped to foster swimming and social skill sets among participants. Bull also served as the Hillsborough YMCA Assistant Swim Coach in 2019, coaching 150 swimmers aged 6-18. She helped to instill the values of teamwork and work ethic into their practices and meets along with improving swimmers' technique and racing skills.
