WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Sophomore
Renee Kohler scored less than a minute into the second half and the William & Mary women's soccer team road the goal to a 1-0 victory over High Point on Thursday afternoon at Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field.
The Tribe (2-3) dominated the stat sheet during the contest, including a 5-0 advantage in shots and a 2-0 advantage in corner kicks in the first 45 minutes. W&M finally broke through just 36 seconds into the second half.
On the play, Kohler volleyed her shot off the post and in from six yards out to give the home side a 1-0 lead. In the end, it marked her first career game-winner. Junior back
