PRINCETON, N.J. – The William & Mary women's soccer team fell in its non-conference finale at Princeton 1-0 on Sunday afternoon in New Jersey.
The Tigers (3-3-2) found the eventual game-winner right before halftime. In the 43rd minute, Olivia Kane found Grace Sherman, who sent a pass across the box. The feed found Gee Prin, who converted, to give the Tigers the lead.
Despite the shot advantage, W&M (2-6-1) fought until the end and had a few chances in the game's waning moments. The Tribe's first late chance came in the 84th minute, when junior
Erin Dailey had her shot saved by Natalie Grossi. Grossi also solved sophomore
Renee Kohler's attempt in the 89th minute, before junior
Kelsey Hamer pushed her chance wide right with 32 seconds left.

What's Ahead
W&M opens CAA play with a split weekend next week. The Tribe travels to defending regular season champion James Madison on Thursday, Sept. 26, before playing host to Towson on Sunday, Sept. 29. Kickoffs are set for 7 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
