HARRISONBURG, Va. – The William & Mary lacrosse team concluded its conference road slate with a 16-9 setback at No. 9 James Madison on Sunday afternoon.

Although W&M (6-8, 1-4) trailed by eight goals early in the second half, it rallied back with a 5-1 run to narrow the margin to 12-8 with 11:09 remaining.

The Tribe continued to trail by just four following senior Maddie Torgerson's fourth goal of the second half with 8:45 remaining, but JMU (14-3, 6-0) held W&M scoreless down the stretch to secure the league victory.
