The Tribe defense limited Delaware State to just four points over the remaining 6:18 and pushed its lead to 21 points.

Tied at 6-6 early in the first quarter, W&M used a quick 6-0 spurt to create some separation. Hodgson, freshman Bre Bellamy, and Rogers all had baskets to make it 12-6 with 5:50 to play in the first quarter.

Leading 27-21, the Tribe used an 8-2 run to go up by 12 in the second quarter.  Rogers started the run, before Bellamy added a bucket. After DSU scored the Tribe got four straight free throws from junior Nyla Pollard and Hodgson.
