Raleigh, N.C. – The William & Mary baseball team was blanked by No. 5 North Carolina State, 5-0, on Friday evening at Doak Field. The Tribe (15-30) allowed two home runs as the Wolfpack (32-12) claimed the series opener.
The Green and Gold faced just a three-run deficit after six innings, but NC State tacked on a pair of insurance runs in the eighth. Patrick Bailey led off the frame with a solo shot to right field. A RBI single from Terrell Tatum push acrosed the next run, before W&M turned a 4-6-3 double play.
