Biography

SENIOR YEAR/2020
Named CoSIDA Academic All-American and Academic All-District. Started all 17 games of the 2020 season and led the team and the CAA in total bases (43), and runs scored (22, tied for 11th in the NCAA)... Tied for the national lead with four triples on the season, helping the Tribe pace the NCAA with 12 total three-baggers... Smashed home runs (2/14) at ECU, (2/22) vs. Fairleigh Dickinson, (2/25) at Virginia, and (3/1) vs. Georgetown helping him to a .705 slugging percentage, second-best in the CAA... One of just two players to reach 20 hits, walked 12 times and was 1-1 stealing bases... Finished second on the team with six multi-hit ballgames and tied for first with four multi-RBI games... Scored multiple runs in seven ballgames and crossed the plate for his 100th time in a Tribe uniform in a March 4 win over George Mason… Defensively, Raquet was outstanding finishing the year with a 1.000 fielding percentage... Three times he had at least four putouts and he fired an outfield assist on 2/22 against FDU… Has 19 career homeruns (20th in WM history) and 13 career triples (sixth in WM history)…  Has 144 career hits, 105 runs scored, and 80 runs driven in. 


JUNIOR YEAR / 2019
Named to the All-CAA Third-Team ... Earned a pair of CAA Player of the Week honors this year ...Tabbed to the Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-District Team ... Appeared in 46 games with 40 starts during his junior year ... Rounded out the season hitting .269 with 39 hits, six doubles, four triples, eight homers, and 31 RBI ... Made his season debut going 2-for-3 with a double in the win against Marist (2/15) ... Hit his first homer of the season in the second game against Marist (2/15) ... Scored three runs in a win versus Sacred Heart (2/24) ... Collected a pair of hits, including a triple in a win at High Point (3/3) ... Tripled and had a pair of RBI in the win against West Virginia (3/17) ... Drove in a pair of runs and scored two runs against Northeastern (3/24) ... Hit a grand slam in the win against Maryland (4/3) ... Went 3-for-5 with three runs scored at Maryland (4/9) ... Homered and drove in two runs at George Washington (4/10) ... Hit a triple in the win against James Madison (4/13) ... Collected a pair of hits at George Mason (4/23) ... Went 2-for-4 with a triple and a runs scored in a win at Towson (4/26) ... Went 2-for-2 with a homer, run scored, and three RBI in a win against Charleston (5/3) ... Added two more hits in the second game of the series (5/4) ... Closed out the weekend going 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a homer, and an RBI ... Had three-straight two-hit performance in the series with Hofstra (5/17-18) ... In the set, had a homer and eight RBI ... Drove in two runs and had a homer in the CAA Tournament opening game win against James Madison (5/22) ... Homered and scored twice in the CAA Tournament semifinals against Elon (3/25).

SOPHOMORE YEAR / 2018
Started 32 times in his 35 appearances…W&M Provost Award Winner…Brought power to the Tribe lineup down the stretch after crushing at least one extra base hit in seven of his last 12 games…Totaled 25 hits, seven doubles, a triple, four home runs and 13 RBI…Finished 2-for-3 against CAA rival UNCW (4/1) for his first multi-hit effort…Collected season-highs on three hits and three RBI with a double and triple to lead W&M past Norfolk (4/17)…Homered twice in as many days and tallied three-RBI in games against Hofstra (4/28-29)…Blasted three doubles and a home run, while posting two RBI in a weekend series at then-ranked No. 5 NC State (5/4-6)…Pounded a double and two-RBI homer at in-state rival Virginia Tech (5/15).

FRESHMAN YEAR / 2017
Tabbed Freshman All-American by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper…Named to the All-CAA Second Team and Rookie Team…Received a pair of CAA Rookie of the Week honors for the weeks of Feb. 21 and April 10…Started in 44 of his 51 games played…Boasted a .337 batting average (60-for-178)...Recorded team-bests four triples and six stolen bases…Tied for first on the team with a .433 on base percentage…Added 13 doubles, three home runs, 25 RBI and 39 runs scored…Tallied 13 two-out RBI…Owned a .506 slugging percentage…Homered with two hits and two RBI in his collegiate debut at then-ranked No. 2 Florida (2/17)…Reached in every plate appearance in a win against Yale (3/11), finishing 4-for-4 with a triple, a RBI and two runs scored…Tripled and drove in a pair of runs as W&M cruised past Rhode Island (3/18)… Batted a spectacular .875 (7-for-8) with three RBI, two doubles and a triple, leading W&M to a CAA series win against Elon (4/7-9)...Drew four walks and scored two runs to help W&M rally from an eight-run deficit at in-state rival Richmond (4/18)…Finished 5-for-9, adding a RBI and a double in a pair of wins over CAA foe James Madison (4/21-22)…Posted a 3-for-4 day with a RBI to help W&M capture a conference win at Towson (4/30)…Helped the Green and Gold complete a three-game sweep of the College of Charleston (5/7) by going 3-for-4 with a run scored…Made a big splash his postseason debut by taylling three hits, three RBI, two doubles and a triple against Elon (5/25) in the first game of the CAA Championship…Notched two hits, two RBI and a double against the College of Charleston (5/26) in the third game of the CAA Championship.
