CHICAGO, Ill. – The William & Mary women's soccer team fell to DePaul 4-0 on Sunday afternoon in Chicago. With the setback, the Tribe falls to 4-4, while the Blue Demons improve to 4-4.
DePaul's Franny Cerny netted a hat trick in the victory for the Blue Demons. She netted the game's first goal in the 34th minute, before adding the team's second goal in the 44th minute. Cerny completed her hat trick in the 48th minute. Jade Eriksen-Russo scored the final goal of the afternoon in the 69th.
The Tribe put six of its seven shots in the match on target, but couldn't convert for a goal. Lauren Frasca (five saves) and Vanessa Nigg (one save) combined for the shutout for DePaul.
