Northeastern cranked an early four-run rally in the top of the first inning. Back-to-back singles and a walk loaded the bases with no outs. Ryan Solo pushed across the first run on a single to third base. After the first out, Jimmy Hand reached on an error at second base, which allowed two more runners to score. Scott Holzwasser capped the rally with an RBI single through the left side, putting the Huskies ahead 4-0.

The Tribe began chipping away at the Northeastern lead in the home half of the first. Junior Cullen Large hit a one-out single to second base, and advanced to second behind a wild pitch. Miconi then laced a two-out RBI double to right center, trimming the Huskies' advantage to 4-1.

W&M used the long ball the tack on its second run in the bottom of the third. Raquet barreled a leadoff homer to center filed for a 4-2 affair. The solo bomb marked Raquet's third home run of the season.

The Huskies extended their lead in the top of the seventh. With one out, Mason Koppens drew a walk. The next batter, Cam Hanley hit a two-run homer to left field. However, senior Chase Bailey retired the next pair of batters on a strikeout looking and a grounder to third base, limiting the damage to a 6-2 score in favor of NU.

The Tribe pushed across a two-out run to make it a three-run contest in the bottom of the eighth. Senior Charles Ameer, freshman Patrick Ryan and redshirt sophomore Kyle Wrighte registered three straight singles to make a 6-3 affair.

In the ninth inning, junior Robert White was placed on the mound and sat the Northeastern batters down in order to maintain the three-run difference. However, the Tribe could only muster a two-out single from Hall in the home half of the ninth as the Huskies secured the win and snapped a six-game skid.
