RICHMOND, Va. (March 23, 2017)—After excelling both on the field and in the classroom, a program-record 34 William & Mary football players have earned Colonial Athletic Association Academic All-Conference Team distinction.
 
The list of Tribe players honored includes: defensive tackle Zach Allison, running back Jaret Anderson, long snapper Jesse Anderson, linebacker Nate Atkins, tight end Andrew Caskin, wide receiver Chris Conlan, offensive lineman Jack Cornett, linebacker Mike DeMonte, linebacker DJ Dobbins, safety Anthony Fullum, quarterback Theodore Hefter, tight end Eric Hensley, placekicker Kris Hooper, tight end Tyler Klaus, wide receiver Daniel Kuzjak, safety Isaiah Laster, linebacker Brandon Louth, wide receiver Jordan Lowery, quarterback Tommy McKee, defensive tackle Bill Murray, offensive lineman Brooks Norris, defensive back Joshua Owusu, defensive back Collin Parker, safety Corey Parker, wide receiver Brady Reitzel, defensive lineman Nick Ridpath, offensive lineman Ryan Ripley, linebacker Dan Schwab, wide receiver Zach Sims, tight end Josh Stallings, linebacker Quinton Taylor, defensive end Jake Walter, wide receiver Grant Waxter and punter Hunter Windmuller.
 
To be eligible for the CAA Football Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
 
The CAA will announce the 2016 Football Student-Athlete of the Year winner next week.
