WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Feb. 25, 2017)—After earning a thrilling extra-inning victory against Lafayette on Friday night, there was less drama in the Tribe's win against the Leopards on Saturday morning as it cruised to a 16-1 triumph at Plumeri Park.
W&M (2-3) scored in each of the first seven innings and posted a pair of five-run frames en route to securing its second-consecutive victory.
Nine different Tribe players collected hits, while

Patrick Ryan (2-for-3, three RBI, run) combined to go 7-for-10 at the plate with five RBI and six runs scored.

Chase Bailey combined for three shutout innings in relief to preserve the victory.
After the Tribe got on the scoreboard first when Large scored on a wild pitch in the first inning, W&M erupted for five runs in the second frame.

Ryan Hall plated a run with a sacrifice fly.
The Green and Gold followed up a one-run third inning with five more runs in the fourth to extend the margin to 12-0. Hall highlighted the scoring outburst with a two-run homer in the fourth inning.
W&M tacked on two more runs in the fifth frame with a two-run blast over the center field wall by Ameer.
