BOSTON, Mass. – The Northeastern women's soccer team rallied and scored three unanswered goals, including the game-winner with just four seconds left in the first overtime period as they defeated the Tribe women's soccer team 3-2 on Friday night in Boston. Junior

Sarah Segan scored in the setback for the Tribe. With the decision, the Tribe falls to 7-6, 1-3 in Colonial Athletic Association play, while the Huskies improve to 9-5-1, 4-1-0 in league action.
W&M controlled the possession in the early stages of the match, firing three of the match's first four shots. Moore fired the Tribe's first two shots from distance, but both sailed wide.
Moore's third shot of the night found the back of the net, however. A couple of passes from junior

Charlotte Hyland sprung the junior free a few feet outside of the 18 and Moore then dribbled around a Huskie defender and rocketed her shot into the top middle of the goal. Moore's fifth goal of the season gave the Tribe an early 1-0 lead.
The Tribe nearly missed its second of goal of the night in the 29th minute. Junior
Sami Grasso and Branton raced into the box on a 2-on-2 with a Huskie defender and goalkeeper. Grasso sent a feed to Branton on the left of the penalty area, but Nathalie Nidetch saved her shot.
Following the goal, Northeastern picked up its attack and had a couple of chances on the attack. Kayla Cappuzzo had the first look, but her shot was blocked leading to a corner kick. On the ensuing corner, Valent Soares Gache had a header blocked. The final chance came on anther header from Soares Gache, but it was wide.
W&M doubled its lead with a goal off of a counter attack in the 37th minute. Junior
Haley Kent sent a long ball from the other side of midfield that Segan chased down and raced with towards the box. Seagan took a stepped into the penalty area and fired a shot over the head of the NU keeper. Her eighth of the season made it 2-0.
The Huskies opened the second half on the attack and got within a goal in the 49th minute. Kayla Cappuzzo sent a cross into the box that found the head of Hannah Rosenblatt. Rosenblatt directed the ball into the back of the net for the first NU goal.
Just a minute later the Huskies found the equalizer again from Rosenblatt. This time she dialed up a long shot from 25 yards out on the left side that found the right side of the net.
Northeastern went on to outshoot the Tribe 12-4 in the second half, and had a really dangerous chance in the final minute of regulation. Hannah Lopiccolo put a shot towards frame that beat the keeper, but redshirt junior
Corinne Giroux cleared it off of the backline for the team save.
The Huskies controlled the possession for the entire first overtime period and made the Green and Gold pay with only four seconds left in the first extra session. Off of a corner kick, the ball was played out of the box by Kerri Zerfoss to Carina Deandreis. Deandreis launched a desperation shot that was deflected by the goalkeeper off of the post and into the goal. The marker lifted Northeastern to a 3-2 victory.
For the night, the Huskies held a 20-9 advantage in shots, which included a 7-5 lead in shots on-goal. Moore led the Tribe with three shots, while Segan fired a pair of shots.
The Tribe concludes its brief two-game road trip as they travel to Hofstra on Sunday, Oct. 9. Kickoff between the Tribe and Pride is set for 1 p.m.
