Milan "Mimi" Bolden-Morris served the William & Mary staff as the program’s director of basketball operations in 2023.
Bolden-Morris arrived in Williamsburg after spending the last year at the University of Michigan, working with the football program. Mostly recently, she served as a strength and conditioning intern, assisting in the physical and mental development of athletes, and helping to design training programs with an emphasis on enhancing athletic performance. Prior to that position, she worked as an offensive graduate assistant and assistant quarterback coach—becoming the first woman to join a Power 5 program's staff since Carol White in the 1980s. She was the first-ever female graduate assistant in the Big Ten.
While Bolden-Morris was at Michigan, the Wolverines' recorded one of their most successful gridiron seasons to date, capturing the Big Ten Championship and advancing to the College Football Playoff.
Before her stint in Ann Arbor, Bolden-Morris was a marketing intern for Rosenhaus Sports Representation in Miami. Teaming with fellow marketers, she worked to collect and analyze research data in order to build brand awareness and identify potential business partnerships. During her undergrad years at Boston College, she also worked as a game-day operations and digital experience intern. In that role, Bolden-Morris took on a handful of jobs, including assisting on-air commentators and helping with pre-game broadcast setup.
At Boston College, Bolden-Morris also showcased her talents on the hardwood as part of the women's basketball team. She earned All-ACC Freshman Team honors following the 2017-18 season, setting the program freshman record for 3-pointers with 80. An All-ACC Honor Roll honoree, she also captured the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Following her graduation in 2020, Bolden-Morris took her talents to Georgetown, joining a Hoyas program that then boasted Sugar Rodgers on its sidelines. Serving as a team captain from 2021-22, Bolden-Morris was also the team's leading scorer and the top 3-point threat in the Big East.
Bolden-Morris earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston College and a master's degree in sports management – business & marketing from Georgetown in 2022.
