Jordan Williams spent two years as an asssitant SID at William & Mary in March 2019.
Prior to joining the W&M staff, Williams spent a year and a half as the media relations assistant at Bridgewater College.
While at Bridgewater, Williams worked with the volleyball, cross country, softball, and track & field.
Williams gained his first opportunity in sports information as a student assistant with the Augusta University athletics department. As a student worker, he wrote game recaps for press releases, aided in compiling stats for basketball, golf, and baseball/softball, and assisted with webcast production.
Williams also has a background in journalism after working at The Augusta Chronicle for over a year as the sports clerk. His duties included recording high school game results from phone calls and faxes, providing complete box scores for local college games and writing high school football game summaries, while tracking individual and team statistics.
The Augusta, Ga., native earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Augusta University in 2015.
