Paul Cox serves as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Administration, a position he was elevated to in 2022. In this role, he provides oversight of the Compliance and Academics efforts of the Athletics department. 

Paul joined the Tribe in 2019 as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance. He came to Williamsburg from North Carolina Central University, where he worked for four years as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance. Additionally, Cox spent time at Coppin State University from 2013-2015. 

Paul  graduated from North Carolina State University in 2011. He earned his J.D. (2014) and M.B.A. (2016) from the University of Baltimore. He and his wife Caroline reside in Williamsburg and have two children, Charlie and Haley.
